BLASFORD HILLS MAIN LAKE

The main lake is about 4 acres in size. It is a mature established lake that would not look out of character as an estate lake. It has trees, islands, reedy bays and lilli pads. The lake is stocked with carp to 35lb tench to over 7lb, pike to 26lb, crucians.

Main Lake Rules

  • All Anglers must have a valid rod license
  • No keep nets or carp sacks
  • No leaders of any description this includes lead core
  • No bait boats
  • No permanently fixed leads
  • No braided main line
  • Barbless hooks only
  • No nuts
  • No fires
  • All nets, slings and mats must be dried before arriving at the lake and dipped in dip tank located onsite.
  • All fish must be treated with a carp care product.
  • No cutting back bankside vegetation
  • No dogs
  • All litter to be taken home with you
  • Maximum of 3 rods
  • All anglers to have a landing net and unhooking mat of suitable size
  • People under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Live baiting is strictly forbidden

Night fishing is available at fishery manager discretion. Please contact us for more information.

Failure to observe the rules or act in any way that interferes with others enjoyment or use of the lake will result in the offender being immediately removed and banned permanently from the fishery.
Visitors are reminded that no responsibility will be accepted for any accidents or damage to persons or property however it may be caused.
